Fun Valentine's Day Crafts

Valentine's Day this year is on a Wednesday! Can you believe it? If you're looking for some easy Valentine's Day crafts for your Kids Ministry class, then you've come to the right place.

There are so many Bible verses and passages on love. (Maybe because God is love!) With this many options to choose from, you can customize any of these crafts to fit your Bible study or lesson.

1. Valentine's Day Suncatcher

I've personally never used a suncatcher before, (and I can't say I quite understand the purpose of one!) but this simple Valentine's Day suncatcher craft proves to be an easy and engaging craft for your kids. Feel free to customize the highlighted verse to anything you like!

2. 1 Corinthians 13 Flipbook

When I first laid eyes on this craft idea, I couldn't help but think of how fun this would be for my Kids Ministry! They would LOVE this craft. This flipbook could be a great Valentine's Day card for your kids or just a constant reminder of just how serious love is.

3. Bible Verse Love Wreath

Here is a very easy craft that can be done in minutes. All you have to do is cut out different sizes of hearts for this Bible Verse Love Wreath. With older kids, they can try and write the verses themselves, but younger kids will need a little help!

4. Names of God Heart Chain

I think every Kids Ministry has done a chain craft at some point. For Valentine's Day, turn those circles into hearts! This is such a genius idea that you can customize in any way you like. Maybe instead of using the names of God, you can write different segments of 1 Corinthians 13. Or, you can have the kids write things/people they love on each heart. The possibilities are endless!

Blessed Beyond a Doubt has posted an incredible guide on how to create these.

5. Valentine's Day Cards

Super simple, I know, but you can never beat a simple Valentine's Day card. Bring stickers, heart cutouts, pipe cleaners, glue, rhinestones... the list could go on and on! Have the kids write these for their family, church members, pastors, or friends. They can write their favorite verses about love or a cute note reminding others that Jesus loves them!
